The business Gypsey Lou was born and operates from the small seaside village, Wilderness on the Garden Route, Western Cape, South Africa. What started out as a hobby soon turned into a thriving small business. Our dedicated and creative staff produce the most beautiful quality handbags which are becoming well known throughout South Africa and now over the world. Our handbags are made in the highest quality fabric, and all finishes (i. e. handles) are in genuine leather. Where possible, we try to source our beautiful fabrics from in and around South Africa because local is lekker!
